Before Dallas Cowboys star Terrell Owens has been in a bad situation this week. The Pro Football Hall of Famer was driving through a neighborhood when he allegedly avoided an accident with a cyclist.
Owens got out of the car and approached the cyclist, who lived nearby. He had a verbal argument with her before police arrived on the scene. She alleges that the widescreen recorder had previously run a stop sign, to which he replied that there wasn’t. She then stated:
“I asked him to slow down but he got out of the car and started harassing me. He put the car in the parking lot.”
Owens replied:
“That’s right, because you didn’t scream at me and tell me I almost hit you when I didn’t.”
The woman replied contemptuously:
“But you don’t have to get out of your car. You’re a black man approaching a white woman.”
Owens replied that she had no reason to feel threatened when he stepped out of the car while her husband was by her side. She then claimed that he had stopped his car and stepped out to approach her.
The Hall of Famer then went on to refer to her as ‘Karen,’ slang for rights, trouble and racist white women, and continued to plead her innocence to police officers. .
She continued to complain while Owens handed over her identification to officers at the scene. Owens then pointed the camera at the woman on the bike before filming herself and saying:
“This is unbelievable. I swear to God. I’ve never been into anything like this. I’ve seen it but this is the first time. This is real life in 2022. Karen out real life.”

Terrell Owens claims that the woman’s husband told her to enter the house, but she snatched her camera, causing the former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver to do the same. The woman was screaming, alleging that Owens was speeding in the neighborhood. True to her claim, another woman, who is not seen in the video, said:
“He didn’t. I was in the garage. You’re lying. I’m sitting in the garage.”

Owens scoffed while the other woman defended him and then said:
“This is real. This is real life in 2022. These are Karen things in real life.”
