The previously unchallenged Dolly Christmas specials were nominated in 2017, 2020 and 2021 (winner of 2021). Given her popularity (there’s a reason her name is in the title), this film, shot in Dollywood with Willie Nelson among the guests, will also be nominated.

The fifth part of carnivores franchise, a $65 million prequel, which debuted at Comic-Con, hit 93% on RT and garnered more views in its first three days than any other Hulu product ever Nominated for Best Drama by the Critics and Producers Association.
Reno 911!: It was a great heist (Central Comedy)
The same team from the series that ended in 2009 are hoping their third spin-off will be their second to earn a nomination (after 2022). Reno 911!: The Hunt for QAnon). It’s a Christmas parody of It’s a wonderful lifewith Lt. Dangle in the Jimmy Stewart part.
Fire Island (Hulu)
This $10 million gay rom-com version of Proud and prejudice star Joel Kim Booster, who also wrote it. Released during Pride Month 2022, it scored 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, earned a Best Television Producers Guild nomination and received a special tribute at the Gotham Awards.
Reality (HBO/Max)
The Tina Satter-directed debut, starring Sydney Sweeney in the lead role in her first feature film, is a word-for-word reenactment of the FBI’s interrogation of the whistleblower. Winner in fact. The film premiered at the Berlin Film Festival, scoring a perfect RT and was one of the last to drop before the eligibility deadline closed.
Strange: The Story of Al Yankovic (Roku Channel)
Daniel Radcliffe stars as “Weird Al” Yankovic, who co-wrote with director Eric Appel, the introduction to this musical biopic. It premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and went on to win Best Drama at the Critics Choice and Producers Guild Awards.
