When Twitter is named X, check out Elon Musk’s ‘S3XY’ naming strategy for cars

Elon Musk speaks next to a Tesla Model Y in Hawthorne, California on March 14, 2019.
Elon Musk officially rebranded Twitter to X, ending the era of the blue bird and starting a new era that began at the company. This is a move that somewhat makes the richest man in the world fall in love with the letter X. This is also a continuation of the steps he has taken to realize this dream. In recent years, his other company, Tesla, has launched cars to complete the ‘SEXY-. However, renaming its entry-level sedan from Model E to 3 changed it to “S3XY,” according to Musk.
According to several tweets that went viral after Twitter changed his name, the X identity was born when he launched an online banking platform called X.com, which later became part of PayPal. Mr. Musk left with $165 million and a dream to create a bigger X brand.
That obsession led him to found Space Exploration Technology Corporation, aka SpaceX. As stated by some social media users, the X in the name represents the trajectory of the rocket.
Then he envisioned a line of cars with model names spelled out “SEXY”. So Tesla, the electric car maker owned by Mr. Musk, started rolling out the Model S and then the Model X and Y.
However, Ford has acquired the rights to the Model E, which sounds similar to Henry Ford’s iconic Model T, according to an old report. America today report.
The company also told the US news agency that in 2010, Tesla entered into a contract in which, “among other things, Tesla agreed not to register or use the Model E. When Tesla later sought to trademark the Model E, Ford insisted that Tesla abide by the parties’ prior agreement.”
When the car debuted in the US in July 2017, Mr. Musk tweeted, “The Model 3 will be called the Model E, for obvious silly humorous reasons, but Ford sued to block it, so now it’s the S3X. Totally different :)”
Now that all four models have been launched (the last model to debut is the Model Y in 2020), there is speculation that Tesla will drop the ‘Model’ plus ‘letter’ naming scheme to complete the ‘S3XY’ lineup.
