Gobbled! The big day is coming, folks! Whether you’re jostling a turkey, huddling to watch the Macy’s Parade, or working up a sweat in the kitchen; One thing is for sure: we all have to get dressed for Thanksgiving. From leggings and slippers, to dresses and heels – we’re covering it all… Here’s a sneak peek at what the LIY Team *really* is wearing for Thanksgiving! This is a festive season with hearts full of life and even more intense!
Carbs Sweatshirt [size down one, wearing in small] // Pants that hug your legs [LIYXSPANX for 10% off, size up if in between, wearing in small] // Sport shoes [true to size]
Do I need to say more? Mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, stuffing, corn stew, cakes, if it’s carb, I’ll eat it on the big day. I feel like there’s no better way to celebrate such a day than this sweater that proudly represents each and every thing I’m putting in my mouth. Add my favorite leggings and I’ll be ready for a nap before the meal is over.
Blouse [TTS, wearing in XS Petite for 5’2″] // Jeans [Size down one] // Heel [TTS]
Honestly, while I love a nice sweater and leggings for Thanksgiving to cuddle up and eat all that stuff and watch football, I love a nice dress option! This lightweight windbreaker has a cami fabric inside so it’s not see-through, breathable means I won’t sweat and I love the print! And jeans…. Let’s just say they’re so comfortable you won’t even realize you’re wearing denim at the Thanksgiving table! So stretchy means they will grow with you throughout the day you eat and the blouse is soft enough to hide your food.
Shacket [true to size for oversized fit] // Wear clothes [true to size] // Boots [true to size]
Hello friends! Our little guy will be *HOPEFULLY* here before Thanksgiving (which happens on November 13th), so there will be a lot of body changes between now and then. Who knows how things will turn out, to be honest. I’ve picked out a few Thanksgiving outfit ideas and asked for your input here. However, I love the ’90s vibes of this stand and it’s great for covering up post-baby stuff a bit! This dress has been a favorite for months now because it’s so comfortable and stretchy and these Target boots have also become a LIY Team and Community top for price vs quality! Happy cornbread & chocolate cake gravy
Foot-friendly sweater [oversized, wearing in a medium] // Jeans [size down one, wearing in 8] // Similar Booties
Here. Sweater. To be. GOOD. I immediately texted my sister after trying it out, because it’s a must-have in my opinion! Friendly leggings. BUT also goes with jeans, oversized, fits at the wrist and turtleneck, very soft, win win win win! 100% I will be back for more! [I’m typically a medium or large in tops, and wearing this in a medium and it’s oversized!]
Jumpsuit [size up one if in between, wearing in a M] // Copse [wearing in A-Beige color, size down if in between, wearing in a S] // Similar jeans [True to size] // Similar Booties[True to size]
Bring animal style to the Thanksgiving table this year[noooo I won’t be serving In-N-Out.. but now that I’m thinking about it…. ] hahaa, turkey will be, because turkey and meat eaters is where it is! Adding to this look, I was hesitant to try a bodysuit – but it’s good that everyone is raving about them so I thought give it a go! SOLD. What I love most is the glossy look they give off as soon as you snap them on 😉 and I quickly understand how much I love them now! They are a great layered option with an open cardigan, but are also super cute to style alone!
Waffle sweater [size down if in between, wearing Medium but could do a small] // Pants that hug your legs [TTS, wearing medium] // Boots [TTS]
In the last few years, Thanksgiving in my family has become VERY normal. We usually wear whatever will allow the most room for mashed potatoes – tights, of course! And for leggings, head to an Aerie sweater.. my favorite place to shop for leggings-friendly tops beyond coziness. Perfect for your post-meal nap! Have a great holiday [and lots of mulled wine]! Congratulations!
Buttoned collar sweater with plaid detail [TTS, wearing in M] // High-waisted jeans [TTS, wearing in 30P] // Ribbon Earrings // Similar Boots [TTS]
Let’s be honest – while I’m cooking, I’m wearing an old pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt because that gravy and juicy taste is spreading everywhere. BUT – right before my guests arrive, I plan to change into this outfit! What you might not notice in this photo is that the plaid detail on the sweater collar goes perfectly with the ribbon earrings, and that makes my heart swell on Thanksgiving Day!
