UK Leaderboard: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe knocks out Call Of Duty for bronze


It’s been a whole new year and we have the latest UK rankings to start 2023 (although technically this includes the last week of 2022). There are no big surprises this week and no new entries, but simply a small reshuffle of the top ten games. Headed by Santa Monica Studio’s god of war Ragnarokclimb two positions to defeat fifa 23 in second place.
Interestingly, the Switch version of FIFA 23 topped the PlayStation 4 version in terms of platform split, at 28%. It just goes to show that EA’s lack of effort with Nintendo’s platform seems to be paying off, at least in the UK.
While, Luxury Mario Kart 8 rise to third place, knock down Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II down to fourth despite a 40% drop in sales. The 64% drop in Modern Warfare II sales may have given the Nintendo racer the slight boost needed to win the bronze medal.
sound border held on to tenth this week, down from seventh. Once again, the Switch version dominated boxed sales, accounting for 53% of the platform split. Finally, Animal Crossing: New Horizons returned to the top 10 to come in at number eight, up four places from last week.
