Kareem Hunt is a wanted man.
With the NFL’s November 1 trade deadline fast approaching, teams looking to vie for a playoff spot are looking for moves to bolster their roster, while others don’t have a season. The great league is looking to reduce star players and players out of contract in exchange for capital.
With a returning star has switched allegiancethe league’s top dogs turned their attention to Cleveland Browns‘Kareem Hunt who may be willing to trade. With a score of 2-5, the Browns’ hopes of reaching the knockout stages are slim. With Nick Chubb already firmly established as the team’s RB1, it seems the time has come for the team and Hunt to go their separate ways. The former Kansas City Chiefs star will make a modest $6.25 million this season before testing the free agency market next year.
While teams continue to make calls about Hunt being exploring a potential deal, author Nick Adams has warned franchises to stay away from returning. He tweeted:
“We shouldn’t even discuss the commercial value of Kareem Hunt. He deserves to go to jail for kicking a Cleveland woman in the head on camera!”
He deserves jail time for kicking a Cleveland woman in the head on camera!
We shouldn’t even discuss the commercial value of Kareem Hunt.
Adams is referring to a video from 2018, in which Hunt and a group of people are seen rushing into each other in a hotel hallway. The video ends with Hunt kicking a woman before walking away. Watch the clip below:

The Running back is having a breakout rookie season with the Chiefs as TMZ releases the footage online. The team released him and the federation issued an eight-match ban on Hunt. The Browns signed Hunt for the 2019 season, and he’s spent the past three and a half seasons with the franchise.
Is Kareem Hunt tradeable?
With the Browns unlikely to reach the knockouts and Kareem Hunt hitting a freestyle in 2023, it makes sense for the team to trade back running before the November 1 trade deadline.
The Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams are reportedly interested in acquiring Hunt to strengthen their roster even further. Both teams are in win mode right now, meaning the Browns can get good value on the trade for a player they will lose for free in 2023.
Deshaun Watson’s Huge Contract and a potential Nick Chubb contract extension will limit the Browns’ ability to spend during the 2023 season. There’s no doubt that Cleveland will be able to offer Hunt an extension he’ll be pleased with. So it’s best for the Browns to trade back and stock up on draft capital.
