“This sounds a little weird”

Raheem Sterling has stated that the current period he is going through at Chelsea is one of the worst of his career.

However, the England international added that he hopes to use this as a learning curve. Chelsea are 12th in the table with 39 points after 33 matches.

They don’t participate in all cup tournaments and are on a six-game losing streak in tournaments under the caretaker boss Frank Lampard. Relegation from the Premier League is still a mathematical possibility, albeit a very small one.

The England international was allowed to leave the Etihad and join Chelsea last summer for a fee of £47.5m. However, his first season at Stamford Bridge was unimpressive.

Sterling has scored just 7 goals and 3 assists in 34 games in all competitions so far. Talk to Sky Sports, former Forest ranger academy players said, via ESPN:

“Personally, this is one of the lowest points of my career. This may sound a bit strange, but it’s also a great lesson. Winning, winning and winning is pretty easy. the sails go well but sometimes in life things will throw at you and that’s the challenge I’m looking forward to, hit it straight and don’t try to hide from it.

He added:

“It will only make me stronger and the whole team stronger. These challenges, not only in football but also in life, are very important to the way we deal with things and the way they are. We’ll continue after that.”

Sterling was used to regularly winning silver trophies during his time at the Etihad. He left Liverpool to join Manchester City in July 2015 at the age of 21 and has won 12 domestic titles, including four Premier League titles.

Chelsea interim coach backs Raheem Sterling to turn his form around

Chelsea caretaker manager Frank Lampard has expressed his full support for struggling Blues star Raheem Sterling.

The England striker has scored just 1 goal in his previous 13 appearances in all competitions. However, Lampard believes his reputation will not threaten his place in Chelsea’s starting XI – at least not for now.

the Old Everton The manager spoke before his team’s away game with Bournemouth on Saturday (May 6), via Metro:

“Of course it’s possible that the team’s form this season has not been good, so there can always be many factors contributing to individual form. He has credit in the bank. Keep working, everything is around. around him will be more stable, I think with Raheem, he will show what he has shown in his career.”

Sterling signed a six-year contract last summer, so he has plenty of time to turn his career around at Chelsea.
