The Theatrical release of beauty The land of the soul The stage play now has a ravishing trailer — and an official release date. This first trailer highlights some but the movie the most memorable characters and moments, such as Chihiro meeting the mysterious spirit No-Face and the six-armed Kamajī, who operates the bathhouse’s boiler room. It is set to a number iconic score of the movie and absolutely breathtaking for something that’s only 41 seconds long.
Spirited Away: Live on stage will hit theaters on April 23 and 27, with a different cast each day. The live recording was shot during the 2022 production at the Imperial Theater in Tokyo. Spirited Away: Live on stage was part of this year’s Ghibli Fest lineup. Ghibli Fest is GKids and Fathom Events’ annual celebration of iconic Studio Ghibli films, offering a wide selection of limited-day theaters.
