HBO’s second episode Our Last has arrived, creating a slight twist in the events of the game as the journey of Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) really begins. In last week’s episode, we had the beginning of the story basically–from Sarah’s death (Nico Parker) lets Joel and Tess (Anna Torv) meet Ellie for the first time. Now, the danger of this world is higher than ever, something that is very clear in the second episode.

In the end, even though we’ve said goodbye to Tess at this point, it’s entirely possible that we haven’t seen her for the last time. After all, there can always be flashbacks to 20 years since the outbreak and today. However, if this is her last bow, there is now a much more memorable way to exit the series.
