Teen forced into SUV in terrifying daylight attack

A teenager has been rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition after he was forced in to an SUV before being dumped in Melbourne’s east.
Police were told the teen was confronted by unknown offenders in a dark grey Volkswagen Tiguan at Glen Hutley about 3.35pm on Monday.
The 14-year-old was forced into the car which took off along Neerim Rd, before only a short time later being left in “unknown circumstances”.
The teen was found suffering significant injuries near Grange Rd intersection, and was rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown, with police investigating whether it is linked to an earlier attack.
Four teenagers were robbed by two unknown offenders armed with machetes in nearby Kambrook Rd only minutes earlier, about 3.25pm.
