Steam pre-orders open in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan

After the announcement of Valve enhances Steam Deck production capabilities, the handheld PC console is also now coming to other select countries – Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Reservations open today, August 3 at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET.

These new reservations will not affect the existing NA/UK/EU reservation timelines. So if you’re in Q3 or Q4, you’ll still be in those queues with the same estimated delivery date.

Valve will be partnering with Komodo for distribution to new regions and will show at BitSummit in Kyoto and the Tokyo Game Show in September.
