PlatinumGames announced that their standard shmup from earlier this year, Sol CrestaThere’s a wave of brand new content being added in the form of DLC packs and a free update.
While the free spins focus on expanding the game’s Caravan Mode as well as the usual tweaks to the player’s experience, the DLC is all about the roster. Made up of three individual purchases (or a bundle for those who want to buy them all at once), the downloadable content adds fighters from Sol Cresta’s predecessors years 1980: moon, Terra Cresta and Terra Cresta II: Mandler no Gyakushuu.
Each of these new units grants their own perks on the battlefield including classic attacks and combos to blend your tactical approach to the game. The “Legendary Fighters” DLC combines all 3 additional fighters into one specially priced DLC. Contains CR47, Wing Galibre and Wing Galibre II. These additional fighters can be used in Caravan Mode and the icon shown in the Caravan Mode high score leaderboard will be of the fighter used.
