basketball wife Executive producer Shaunie Henderson, formerly known as Shaunie O’Neal, is enjoying every minute of the newlyweds’ happiness. However, the mother-of-five doesn’t like the constant questions she continues to receive regarding her ex-husband Shaquille O’Neal.
“One thousand percent, I get tired of questions about ‘Shaq,’ yes,” Henderson said in a recent interview with Page Six.
I just don’t know if those questions are necessary nearly 13 years later, you know what I mean? It was that time in my life… If you have any questions about Keion Henderson, you’re welcome to ask all day, shoot!
Henderson Addresses O’Neal Calling Himself “D**Khead” Because Of The Fall Of Their Marriage
The 48-year-old also replied to O’Neal that he was a “d**khaad” in the couple’s nine-year marriage. The couple got married in 2002 and finalized their divorce in 2011. According to Sportskeeda, O’Neal originally filed for divorce in 2007, citing the “irreparable breakdown” of the marriage. Although O’Neal withdrew his claim in 2008, Henderson filed for divorce in 2009 citing irreconcilable differences.
I advertised the slot. You don’t know how good you have something until it’s gone.
Henderson responded, saying she was “so glad” O’Neal could “share his truth.”
I’m glad he can share the truth about how he feels. I don’t really have an opinion on it. That was too long ago. I am in a new place in life. What he needs to share for his truth is his truth and it is what it is.
O’Neal still scored a ‘courtesy invitation’ to Henderson’s wedding
In an exclusive interview with E! News, Henderson also revealed that O’Neal was able to indirectly score a polite invitation to her big day.
My daughter has a sweet 16 year old. She turned 16 in May right before the wedding so we had a birthday party together and he said, ‘Wow, am I invited to the wedding?’ And I was like, ‘Of course.’ And I’m rolling my eyes like, ‘I mean you, but do you really have to come?’ But I mean, it’s our joke, isn’t it? I know people will take it and run after it. But that’s our joke.
Henderson admits, laughing, that that moment left her in a dilemma.
What can I do?
