Prince William and Kate Middleton released a musical short film showing royal fans starting their day at Kensington Palace, with the couple and their two children, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, everyone dressed in coronation gowns, left Kensington Palace for Westminster Abbey.
There are photos of the streets filled with horses, brightly decorated wait staff and cheering crowds, as well as scenes of Charles and Camilla in the Gold State Coach and William and Kate with their children in the car horse. This was followed by a movie about the wider royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. The final image shows Charles and Camilla waving to the crowd during their second sortie to the palace balcony.
The message accompanying the video read: “What. A day. Thanks to everyone who made it happen #Crowned“
Meanwhile, images taken by famed royal photographer Chris Jackson from inside Buckingham Palace show Charles and Camilla’s view of the cheering crowd below as they waved in the balcony moment.
Another photo shows the couple in full coronation. The image of the Red Arrow flying over the balcony was taken from behind the crowned heads of Charles and Camilla, while the image of Camilla in her Coronation gown shows embroidery of her beloved dogs and the name of her son Tom and grandchildren Gus and Lola. The final image of Charles and Camilla taken by Jackson from behind shows the pair looking at each other while on the balcony facing the crowd below.
