Tell us a little about yourself…

“I’m in my twenties and live in Geelong, Australia with my partner. I grew up in a small rural town and switched to studying in my dream field of architecture. “

“I graduated earlier this year with a degree in architecture and construction management. I’m taking a break from my studies and using this opportunity to explore my love of home decor and design. Between my job search and full-time retail, I was looking for a creative outlet to ignite my passion and as a result was born. has a passion for interior design and loves creating beautiful spaces to live and work in.”

What is your blog name?

“It’s a monochromatic life.”

How did you get into the blog?

“Although my blogging ‘career’ is just getting started, I’ve been experimenting with this idea for a while. I started the year (like many others) with a long list of goals. and ambition. Creating a website is at the top of the list and It’s so exciting to be able to share my style with everyone. I started Instagram about a year ago, ever since then I’ve been blogging. This site aims to create a platform to showcase a collection of timeless beautiful designs.”

“My posts are about sharing what I love and enjoy with my audience.”

“As the blog is in its infancy, there’s a lot to look forward to. I’m excited to highlight some of my favorite Australian companies and share their products with you.”

Who is your inspiration?

“We are very fortunate to live in the era of media. Through social media you can connect with inspirational people from all over the world to exchange ideas. In personal life, I’m inspired by my family and friends, who always support them. The best from me and my work.”

Favorite interior trend?

“For me, interior design is the connection between you and your space. Although trends come and go, I base my style on what I like and the feelings that resonate with me. I locked in the constant battle between trying to live the bare minimum and the love of a good bargain.”

Worst interior trend ever?

“There’s too much to mention…”

“When designing your home, you should consider how you plan to live in the coming years. The planning and organizational layout of your home will inform how you interact in each space.”

“When it comes to home decor, invest in quality pieces that are beautifully designed and will outlast current interior trends or color palettes.
