Nintendo shows off Kirby Tilt ‘n’ Tumble’s motion controls on Switch

Earlier this week, Nintendo surprised fans by adding two Game Color titles and a few other games to its Switch Online service.
In particular, one of these titles is Kirby Tilt ‘n’ Tumble. Now, if you haven’t actually played this game before – it’s well worth a look because it features motion controls. And the Switch version of the game even replicates this feature. Instead of moving the Game Boy Color, you now have to rotate the Switch or a gyro-enabled controller.
To help illustrate how this game is actually played, Nintendo has now released a short trailer:
It’s not much, but hopefully it will spread awareness that there’s a slightly different experience like this currently available in the Game Boy library on Nintendo Switch Online. Here is the official PR description of this 2001 release:
“When you move, Kirby moves! This action game has been released for Game Boyâ„¢ color system in 2001 and has the cutest Kirby ever! In this game it’s all about how Kirby tilts and somersaults! This change to the classic Kirby gameplay adds a new level of fun. Kirby moves left, right, forward and backward based on the movement of the system you’re holding!”
