On Sunday, the Dallas Mavericks disclosure long awaited monument featured Dirk Nowitzki make my signature one-legged jump that NBA fans are all too familiar with during his 21 seasons in the Association. Talking about those 21 seasons, the inscription at the foot of the statue has exactly 21 letters: “Loyalty never fades”. Dirk spoke of the honor during the ceremony and had this to say: “I’m so glad it’s finally here and we got to see it. It’s emotional as things go up. I feel like the sun is perfect today it’s shining right up there I’m so glad my family is here to see it (and) my parents are alive to see it so , it was a very, very cool day and I enjoyed it.”
