Xbox head Phil Spencer recently mentioned he wants to bring Activision’s call of duty franchise for platforms like Nintendo Switch after the Activision Blizzard merger is complete.

Well, today Phil shared some absolutely big news – reveals how Microsoft has entered into a “10-year commitment” to bring the biggest first-person shooter franchise to the Nintendo platform. Driving this is Microsoft’s commitment to bring games to more people globally. Here is his tweet:

“Microsoft has signed a 10-year commitment to bring Call of Duty to @Nintendo following the merger of Microsoft and Activision Blizzard King. Microsoft is committed to helping bring more games to more people – the way they choose to play.” @ATVI_AB

in one second postPhil mentioned that Microsoft will also commit to continuing Call of Duty on Valve’s Steam service.

“I’m also pleased to confirm that Microsoft is committed to continuing to deliver Call of Duty on @Steam and also to Xbox after we complete our merger with Activision Blizzard King. @ATVI_AB @ValveSoftware”
