Metaverse Game Studio active use ImmutableX for its first Web3 MMORPG, Angel. The indie game developer includes industry veterans with a history of developing games like Far Cry, League of Legends, Diablo Immortal, etc.
ImmutableX is the preferred developer platform for building and scaling Web3 games on Etherium.

Metaverse Game Studios is launching a $10 million seed round, which ends in March 2022. The company is primarily using that money to fuel the next phase of Angelic’s development. It is also using funding to ensure the most seamless Angelic experience possible for every user.
Angelic features incredible visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5. It is a dark sci-fi themed narrative strategy role-playing game, with turn-based combat. The game takes place in a cooperative universe, with blockchain elements built in.
Angelic is trying to thread a needle between a casual gamer and a Web3 player. It focuses on building a vibrant and engaging world with exciting gameplay. It’s ‘chain-agnostic’, which means it’s stored off-chain. But it does have the option of connecting to various threads through a custom backend, thanks to ImmutableX.

Angelic is running alpha testing for community members and select partners near the end of January 2023. Angelic will go public in February 2023. Alpha test players and NFT holders will have trade their NFTs when the game launches.
