Shared in the company’s ‘Happy New Year’ card (one of many made by Famitsu), Level-5 announced that in 2023 we will get a lot of new news. This will include details about upcoming Inazuma Eleven: Heroes’ Path to Victory (if this title hangs aroundie), as well as including a brand new IP.

Of course, the chance for this “new work” to be released in the West is extremely slim. Level-5 has announced that it is “virtually paused” North American production branch back in 2020, there is no indication that any release will appear outside of Japan in the near future.
Just last week, we got a closer look at the upcoming Inazuma Eleven game with a Brand new game trailer, though whether the game will be released in the West remains unclear. Perhaps some announcement for 2023 – Level-5’s 25th anniversary, nothing more – will give us some more information on when and where new projects will be released. But for now, at least, we’ll have to be content with wondering what the new IP will entail.
