Kalen Allen, who was discovered by Ellen DeGeneres as a digital creator, signed with WME.
Actor, producer, singer-songwriter and TV personality who exploded when a video went viral Kalen reacts The food video caught the attention of DeGeneres and made Allen a guest on The Ellen Show. That became a deal for Allen as a guest contributing to the show and its digital platforms.
Allen has won the 2020 Webby Award for his weekly digital series OMKalen and he was nominated as Best YouTube Comedian at the 2019 Shorty Awards. He has also appeared on Amazon Prime’s With love and HBO Max’s A program that sketches black women.
And Allen was a judge on Food Network’s Cake and Stakeout Supermarket, and he organized Buddy vs Duff. He made his acting debut in Seth Rogen’s 2020 American style pickles pic for HBO Max, and his musical debut accompanies his holiday album For Christmas Sake!
Allen supports nonprofits such as The Point Foundation, The Trevor Project, GLSEN, GLAAD, and Better Brothers LA. He graduated from Temple University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in journalism at NYU.
