by Janet Jackson grandson is being talked about on social media for posting a tweet criticizing her and Black women in general for being “over-sexualized”. TJ Jackson Calls His Aunt Janet Jackson For Being Too Sexy In Her Career

Responding to a tweeted video showing Janet famous for her sexy performance at a previous concert, TJ Jackson expressed his disappointment with his aunt.

“I also never liked her doing this in concerts, I don’t like the way women are overly erotic in art… that demeans and belittles women in an unhealthy way,” he said. TJ writes about his aunt. “I prefer Janet ‘That’s the way love goes’.”

In 1993, Janet appeared in an iconic photo on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, in which her breasts were exposed while only being covered by a pair of hands from behind.

“I (didn’t) like it… it just detracts from her amazing talent,” added TJ.

Those instances were among a number of other highly erotic photos and moments in her career, which her grandson appeared to have taken issue with according to his tweet.

Social media entices Janet Jackson’s grandson for criticizing her sexual use

Social media and Janet Jackson fans were not pleased with TJ’s hot shooting and made those criticisms on Twitter.

“I’m sorry I don’t like this. I’m not. Her gender expression hasn’t diminished at all. Especially when a lot of the men in your family also make erotic music. Including 3T,” one detractor replied.

One commenter tweeted that “his aunt showed… how a woman can be herself.”

“What your aunt has shown over the years is how women can master themselves. She never just talked about Social Justice. Or just about sex. Or just about part. She is a well-rounded person.”

Another noted that his view on the matter may differ from others due to “she’s your literal aunt”.

“Do you think maybe you have a different view of it just because she’s your biological aunt? I don’t agree with your point of view, but I think perhaps Janet is not the best person to make your point.”

“Do you think Janet has influenced the way women behave in music today? Is it WAP Janet’s fault?” asked the third. “It’s not like you’re embarrassing your own SMH aunt,” another added.

“Aren’t you ashamed of your own aunt SMH” One commenter wrote

Others have taken a more balanced approach to the conversation.

“However, it is part of the action. Like all Janet interviews I’ve seen, she’s always shy and polite,” one person commented.

Another agreed with TJ to some extent, saying that his aunt “has a lot of influence on music these days.”

“I think Janet has a lot of influence in music today. I think most newcomers like Cardi B, Teyana Taylor and Coi Leray get that from Janet.”

Some commenters agree with TJ, as he tries to get back to some controversy

One person completely agreed with TJ, writing on Twitter: “You’re right, TJ. As black women, we need to know that we are more than just our bodies. We have so much more to offer. I see a lot of women with a talent that, if used, is unstoppable.”

TJ tried to soften his stance a bit after the criticism, and followed those tweets with another line saying “all Black women out there, know your worth… Be yours… the queen you want to be.”

“To all the black women out there…. know your worth. I truly believe that you are the most powerful beings on the planet. Don’t sell yourself cheap. Be the queen you want to be,

What do you think, Roomies? Does TJ have any views on his aunt’s public sexuality? Or is this a case of “shame?”
