Jacob Hoggard sexual assault case returns to northeastern Ontario court on Thursday
HAILEYBURY, Ont. – Another sexual assault case involving Jacob Hoggard, the Hedley leader, will go to court today in northeastern Ontario.
In March, Hoggard was charged with sexual assault causing bodily harm in an incident believed to have occurred on June 25, 2016, in Kirkland Lake, Ont.
The court event took place when the male singer was out on bail awaiting sentencing for sexually assaulting an Ottawa woman.
In June, Hoggard was found guilty of sexual assault causing bodily harm in an incident that took place in a Toronto hotel room in the fall of 2016.
A sentencing hearing for that case is set for early October.
Hoggard was found guilty of not committing the same crime against a teenage fan.
