At the start of the new season, many people took it into account brooklyn network to continue their struggle. However, they got through the tough period after a lot of problems started. They have now moved up to second place to give them a big advantage when the post-season kicks off in mid-April.

since when? Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving started playing together in 2020-21, they had been in a similar situation in the previous two seasons.

Brooklyn was also 24-12 last season (on January 5), eventually pushing that mark to 29-16 before collapsing when Durant came off the field with a knee injury. That caused a 3–17 drop, and they finished as the play-in team after taking down the seventh seed with a 48–24 record. Brooklyn was wiped out by the last Eastern Conference champions, Boston Celticsin the first round of the knockout round.

Nets was 23-13 on March 1, 2021 (when the season started was delayed due to COVID-19) and pushed that mark to 28-13. They finished second in the East with a score of 48-24, but lost Game 7 at home to the Milwaukee Bucks with a score of 115-111. Milwaukee continues to win NBA Finals that season.
