King Charles III’s coronation at Westminster Abbey in London drew worldwide media attention on Saturday, but celebrations will continue on Sunday, including a Concert big coronation.
Take That, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, Tom Cruise and others will bring star power to the event.

When and where does the coronation concert take place?
The musical event will take place on the grounds of Windsor Castle, the British Royal residence and the oldest and largest castle in the world, just west of London. It is scheduled to start at 8pm London time/3pm New York time/noon LA time.
Thousands of members of the public, who won tickets through voting, and volunteers from the King and Queen’s charities will be attending the concert. Additional tickets have been directed to groups that support causes such as the environment.
Where will it broadcast?
The BBC will broadcast Sunday’s Coronation Concert on TV, radio and its digital platforms between the 8-10pm hours in London and on demand.
For those in central London, screens in the capital’s St James’s Park will also show musical action.
In the US, the Coronation Concert will be performed by PBS at 3-5pm NY time/noon-2pm LA time.
What is the goal of the concert?
The coronation concert is not only intended to entertain British and global audiences, but also to send a cultural message. Organizers say it will “present the country’s diverse cultural heritage of music, theater and dance, bringing music icons and contemporary stars together on this historic occasion .”
Who will perform and participate in the coronation concert?
Event organized by Downton Abbey star Hugh Bonneville, will bring together big names from the world of music, Hollywood and beyond.
The lineup of artists who perform like who’s who in music includes the likes of Britain’s Take That (composed of the original three, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald and Mark Owen, but not Robbie Williams), Paloma Faith , Olly Murs, Steve Winwood and DJ Pete Tong, US stars Lionel Richie, Nicole Scherzinger and Katy Perry, Nigerian singer-songwriter Tiwa Savage, Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli, Welsh opera singer Bryn Terfel and Chinese pianist Lang Lang.
Meanwhile, Zak Abel will replace fellow singer-songwriter Freya Ridings, who was supposed to perform on stage with Alexis Ffrench on the piano, but had to pull out at the last minute due to illness.
Besides, Sex education star and new Which doctor? The lead Ncuti Gatwa will star in excerpts from Shakespeare’s plays presented as part of a multidisciplinary performance that is a collaboration of The Royal Ballet, The Royal Opera, The Royal Shakespeare Company, The Royal College of Music and The Royal College of Art.
US music star Bette Midler is also expected to appear at the concert. Video messages from Tom Cruise and Joan Collins will add a bit of Hollywood glitz to the affair, with other videos released for Tom Jones and Bear Grylls.
Additionally, following the popular comedy video of Paddington Bear with Queen Elizabeth II during the Platinum Party at the Palace, Winnie-the-Pooh will make a special appearance as part of the Coronation Concert.
All in all, the stage is set for a memorable night.
