Embrace the smart home
Smart home is not just a stage. Based on Brett Ramsaydirector of Ramsay Builders, a modern home is a technology-enabled home.
“We love to integrate the latest technology into the design of a home, creating a safer and more comfortable home to match the lifestyle of our clients. In one of our recent projects, we included a range of innovative features, including an app-controlled garage entrance, keyless entry, and an iPad for parking. control heating, cooling, pool and outdoor watering. Solar panels provide a sustainable source of energy, while electronic water heating and an app-controlled electronic fireplace ensure every resident stays warm during the winter months. Modern technology makes everyday life easier, allowing customers to focus on the more important things in life! “

Make up your electronics
It’s hard to imagine a time when every home didn’t have a television. In the 60s, 70s, and even 80s, placing the TV on the screen was central to the design and as a symbol of how modern people walk into your home. These days, it’s all about disguising your TV so that when not in use, it won’t show up. Modern home design chooses to integrate technology into the room without turning it into a feature using floating entertainment equipment as well as artwork, plants and books on the coffee table.
Decorative feature has color and texture
Monochrome and minimalist design is the reigning King and Queen of modern home design. But to avoid an empty and boring space, careful use of functional decorations can bring vibrant and interesting colors to your home. Try matching textures with natural wood furniture or spice up neutral wall tones with a bright stool for the living room. One benefit of modern, neutral design is that it can be easily updated each season with new colors and decorations.
What’s new in the bathroom?

“People are starting to move away from the feeling of a utilitarian space and towards a relaxing bathing paradise – preferring softer interiors with plants, accessories and warm décor,” says Carter.
“We are seeing a trend for larger format tiles that work well in both larger and more compact spaces, with the key to layered lighting in creating focal points.”
