Not one but two original scripted comedies are coming out this week with different selling points. First up is Tina Fey’s surprising transfer due to production Girls5eva from Peacock to Netflix, talking about NBCUniversal’s streaming problems; and the second is Chad, switched from TBS to Roku for a completely different reason. We go inside both deals in this segment.

4. Showrunner Spotlight
Al Gough and Miles Millarwho have been writing to associates for decades after their meeting at USC, join the show for a hilarious spooky chronological interview about their upcoming Addams Wednesday series, Wednesday. The duo who brought the hit to TV with their previous WB Network/CW series Smallville, which opens about how Clark Kent’s decades of teenage exploration helped influence what they bring to Netflix with their series starring Jenna Ortega.
