Here We Go! Original ideas for your holiday gift list

Winter break will soon be upon us. I noticed an ad that said the Black Friday Special (usually the day after Thanksgiving) would start on October 31 of this year – my heart sank because I didn’t have the list yet. And don’t worry – we’re all here at ReadWrite trying out the products we’ll be reporting on, so stay tuned for new listings coming soon.
Last year, I was asked to look at some items that weren’t too expensive and to think about and included some “everyday items.”
- Eli & Elm Pillow
I want a good night’s sleep! Finally finished the book, Why do we sleep, I realized that I had spent my life creating bad sleep habits that would take a lot of work to get rid of. I’ve spent a fortune on pillows this year trying to find a pillow that I love. I think this Eli & Elm pillow is one of those!
You will notice that they have a great choice of bed linen and other bedroom equipment.
- BRAND SUPERiO
I love this brand and all the items you can’t live without. From decorative doormats to snow removal equipment – each item has been carefully selected. I really love the Ribbed Collection with its chic, contemporary design. Multiple options for bins, compartments and desktop storage.
- TheralICE RX
Have you ever been naughty or beautiful? How about, are you in pain? TheralICE has pain relief remedies you’ve never tried or seen – but just what you or your loved one need.
- Bear back dry brush
The ancient art of dry brushing is a 5-minute ritual that can rejuvenate your health and transform your day. It energizes and stimulates your circulation.
- Scratching the back of the bear
I know – I’ve been looking for these for quite some time and wanted one for everyone on my list. Either of these would be great for office peeping and people in line. At a great price, you can keep a few of these scratch cards on hand for last-minute gifts.
- 120W . solar panel
This is an inexhaustible source of green solar energy. When you jump into the website, you can see how small these boards are. Waterproof, durable & long service life. These solar panels are like your own personal power station that you can even take with you. Great for RVs Camping and Power Outages.
- 1021Wh . solar generator
After all the COVID and then the terrible storms and war stuff in Ukraine – I was looking for some urgent items. This solar generator is my next purchase. A pre-holiday gift for myself and a gift for my parents.
- RYSE SMART SHADES
8. RYSE – Upgrade your existing window colors
You will want to visit the RYSE site and see how amazing this automated system is. You can open or close the blinds while lying in bed – from your phone. Simple installation that you can do yourself, make your blinds open or close automatically. The site has many great reviews and viewing options to decide how you will use your RYSE (Rise) Smart Shade system.
- PULL STARTED FIRE
We were all there. Pick up logs and branches from the ground – they are wet, freshly cut or even frozen. Sure it wasn’t windy 5 minutes ago – but will the wax brick really continue to shine this time? Pull Start Fire does the chore of starting a fire, inside or outside.
- Puffer Hug
Puffer Hug was featured on Oprah Daily & O Quarterly’s O-List as a top pick of the year. A fleece lining with deep pockets for essentials is a thoughtful gift, perfect for being comfortable at home, the office, or outdoor events. Great for travel.
- Banana Phone Specifications
- Banana phone
Too funny for words. Inexpensive and fun. It has a Bluetooth speaker to play your favorite tunes from a banana. Yes – you saw this on Shark Tank. Their tagline is Talk More, Laugh More, Save the Gorillas. Great fun gift!
