343 Industries on Tuesday finally released the main game modes in Halo Infinitealmost a year after its launch in December 2021.
Halo Infinite‘S big winter update brings features like Forge, map and game editor, campaign co-op (but not couch co-op) and replay the campaign mission. Additionally, the patch introduced a new multiplayer battle pass along with new maps and game modes. Developer 343 Industries has released an update for both Xbox Series X and Windows PC.
Halo Infinite went through both pre-launch and post-launch implementation difficulties. game has been delayed before release, and after launched without core features running forever like Forge mode and campaign co-op. Couch co-op may no longer appear in the game, but at least today will be the first time that fans will be able to try playing the co-op campaign online.
Big winter update comes days after head of Xbox Game Studios Matt Booty gives another candid assessment about the development and launch of the game. Booty says Halo Infinite’s the live service plan “failed” and compared the release to “the classic runner’s mistake of tripping and tripping as you cross the finish line.”
So even though it’s been a long time, if you still have it in your heart to give it away Halo Infinite another chance, today would be a good time to go back.
