Getting sucked in in Season 12
If you’ve come down Ninjala, we may have a reason for you to come back. In a somewhat unexpected announcement, GungHo recently announced that the Switch exclusive version will add fishing in its Season 12 update.
Players will be able to reach any large body of water and throw a rope. Apparently there will also be fishing quests, tournaments, and “Aquapedia” where you can record everything you catch. Players will also be able to use different fishing methods depending on the location.
Fishing options on offer include rod fishing, surf fishing (bait) and surf fishing (bait). You can see the new fishing mechanics in action in the video below:
