After his failed bid on Twitter plunged Tesla chief executive (CEO) into a tough legal battle, Elon Musk today said he is buying English football club Manchester. United.
“Just to be clear, I support the left half of the Republican Party and the right half of the Democratic Party,” he wrote on Twitter. And right after this tweet, he said, “Also, I’m buying Manchester United, welcome.”

One can never know how serious Musk is when it comes to his tweets but the hint of this news sent Manchester United into a frenzy.
Manchester United fans have called for the departure of the family of current American owners Glazer due to the club’s poor performance in recent years.
Musk’s tweet, published not too long ago, has garnered a huge amount of response.
One of the Twitter users asked, “Do you really think he bought the gunna? Or just talking trash.”
Referring to the Tesla CEO’s legal battle on Twitter, another user took aim at Musk and pointed out that the deal did not materialize.
“You don’t want it, trust me This man made a deal to buy Twitter for $44 billion without doing any consideration.
Elon Musk is locked in a tussle with Twitter because of a failed acquisition bid that Twitter is currently intent on making.
The microblogging site and the world’s richest man is currently on trial after Musk sought to walk away from a deal to acquire Twitter for what he said was misrepresentation of fake accounts on the site.
Twitter is trying to force Musk to abide by the deal while accusing him of undermining it because it no longer serves his interests.
