The Buffalo Bills will once again show up at prime time in Week 2, but they will be missing a key member of the defensive front on Monday night. Per a team announcementsolve defense Ed Oliver have been excluded.
The 2019 first-round player took on the role of mid-starter in his rookie campaign. Since then, he has been a steady stream on the Bills’ D-line, appearing in every contest so far in his career. With 12 bags, he has demonstrated a passing ability that makes him a top 10 pick alongside work against the track.
The second set of skills was rated poorly by the PFF, but the Bills still managed to create a bit of a surprise when they decided choose his fifth year choice. As a result, Oliver will make $10.75 million in 2023 while the Bills look to keep their young, championship-caliber core intact.
