Does Brandon Marshall know Aaron Rodgers’ retirement plans?

The Packers’ QB Aaron Rodgers is said to have emerged from his shadow retreat, during which he reflected on his life, career and his ability to make a movie about his shadow retreat. Rodgers said he will let the world know about his decision to play or retire in 2023 after coming out of the soft cocoon of enlightenment. Which makes This video being posted to his Instagram by former NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall tonight is really awkward.
“So I wanted to be the first to say: ‘Hello Aaron Rodgers for an extraordinary career.’ You are one of the greatest,” Marshall tells the camera. “Myself? You are my favorite midfielder ever. Favourite. Aaron Rodgers, congratulations on an extraordinary career. You won a Super Bowl… damn, I never even made it to the knockouts. You should be proud, man. Your name and your team, that team, are forever etched in the history of the NFL. Your child ‘your child’ your child’ will be able to see that. You’ve won consecutive MVPs. Then you won three MVPs. You are extraordinary. You can leave, bro. There’s nothing left to prove. Travel the world. Go explore. Go build your family.
Uh.
We’re confused, to say the least.
Not sure what to say about it all that thing, in addition, Marshall appears to have information about Rodgers’ future plans that is unknown to the general public. At times he sounded like he was congratulating Rodgers on a decision that had been made and urging Rodgers to retire, which…have we seen that before?
Don’t we just have a midfielder who seems to have played an entire season just to piss off the guy who broke the news of his retirement first? And if that’s how Tom Brady reacts when offended about his own retirement, imagine how well Aaron Rodgers, the Critical Thinker himself, would have handled it. Eager to hear What Joe Rogan thinks of all this.
