Dodgers deal a heavy blow after losing SS Gavin Lux

Shortcut Dodgers Gavin Lux torn ACL in a spring training game on Monday that will likely end his season, the team revealed on Tuesday.
Manager Dave Roberts called the loss a “big blow”, adding Miguel Rojas, who is expected to be the backup, will play the shortstop, through GAME.
During the off-season, former Dodgers SS Trea Turner signed an 11-year, $300 million deal with the Philadelphia Phillies, leaving one vacancy. Lux is the obvious choice to take over. As insurance, Dodgers exchange for Rojaswho can also play other infield positions.
Roberts also told the media that Chris Taylor will start a throw-in program to play at shorter distances and quarterback Mookie Betts will likely get more playtime at second base to assist whenever which is necessary.
