Destiny 2 Lightfall: Bungie releases list of known issues

The launch of Lightfall is huge for destiny 2set a new concurrent player record on Steam, but it’s no problem. Bungie support has released a string of all known issues related to the launch of Lightfall, with some features temporarily disabled while the bugs are investigated.

Thankfully, the issues currently identified by Bungie do not appear to be fatal bugs. The support team has warned that some players are reporting issues when they visit the Rewards page in the Journeys tab and advises players to avoid the page until the problem can be fixed.

In the temporarily disabled content, the Jötunn Exotic thermonuclear rifle has been removed from all Crucible modes, while the Arc Hunter’s melee Disorientation Strike has also been temporarily removed.

Some Xbox Series X|S users are also reported to have problems logging into Destiny 2 after the update. Bungie outlined a series of steps that should serve as a workaround for this problem. Some PC players are also reported to have problems logging in on Steam.

Here are all the issues Bungie has identified at the time of writing:

• Due to an issue, we disabled the Jötunn Exotic thermonuclear rifle in all Crucible modes.

• Due to an incident, we have temporarily disabled Arc Hunter’s disorienting Blow melee.

• Some players experience issues when they access the Rewards page in the Journeys tab. You should not see this screen until a fix can be implemented.

• “Legendary Lost Sector Alone” Guardian Rank objective can be completed with both Master and Legendary Lost Sector.

• Veteran players who start Lightfall at Guardian Rank 6 will not receive Vanguard Lore Book from 1 to 6 and will only receive Vanguard Lore Book 7.

• Guardian Rank seasonal reset text is incorrect. Guardian ratings from 7 to 11 are advanced ratings, and players in these ratings reset to 6 at the end of the season.

• “Ascendant Scepter Mods” Victory from Season of Defiance cannot be completed.

• Swarmers Warlock Exotic Legs do not generate Threadlings when throwing a Tangle if the player has a Strand Shackle grenade equipped.

• The “Sheltered Enemy” activity modifier showing a placeholder icon.

• The Quicksilver Storm Exotic automatic rifle and the Touch of Malice Exotic reconnaissance rifle have lost the ability to increase damage by 40% against enemies with the red bar.
