Crystal Renay receives $1.6 million one-time payment and $12,000 monthly child support once Ne-Yo divorce is complete
Crystal Renay And Ne-Yo officially closed the book on their marriage. And she is leaving with over a million dollars, monthly financial support for her and their children, and thousands of assets.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Ne-Yo is responsible for paying his ex-wife a lump sum of $1.6 million. He’s cutting that check to “balanced the division of their real estate assets,” reported stores.
In response to Crystal’s divorce petition, filed in August, Ne-Yo asked a judge to consider her. “lack of contributions” in the division of their property, including their Georgia homes.
However, court documents say Ne-Yo will deliver the deed to one of their four Georgia homes and $20,000 in moving costs. It is unclear whether the house granted was their marital home. Ne-Yo initially claimed he was solely responsible for paying the mortgage on that house and maintaining all four homes.
Crystal’s future transportation will also depend on payment from Ne-Yo. He’s cutting a check for $150,000 to Crystal to buy a new car while he keeps the 2022 Bentley Bentayga in their possession.

Along with housing and travel costs, Ne-Yo will also be responsible for paying Crystal $5,000 in alimony over the next three years — about $180,000 in total. The payment may still be a win for Renay, as Ne-Yo initially opposes her request for temporary and permanent alimony.
During their eight-year relationship, the divorced couple welcomed three children, Shaffer Chimere Jr., Roman Alexander-Raj and their youngest child, Isabella Rose, born in June 2021. Ne-Yo will pay $12,000 monthly for child support and tuition for his trio.
According to the divorce documents, Crystal and Ne-Yo also have joint custody of the children. In addition, the two have agreed to keep their new romantic partners away from their children unless they are engaged, married, or otherwise given each other’s consent.
Crystal also asked for $25,000 for attorneys’ fees, but it’s unclear if that amount will be granted.
As mentioned, Crystal filed for divorce just days after publicly accusing Ne-Yo of being a cheater and narcissist in July. In the divorce petition, Crystal also alleges that Ne-Yo had a child with another woman during their marriage.
At that time, the female singer did not mention the accusation of “having an outside child” although the rumor had been circulating for many months. However, he shared photos of the baby for the first time in mid-January.
The child appears to be a toddler that he fathered to Sade, the social media influencer. Shortly after Ne-Yo shared the pictures of their son, Sade retweeted the selfie to her IG Story.
Sade appears to be pregnant again, but it is unknown if she will welcome a child with Ne-Yo.
Ne-Yo is also the father of two children with ex-fiancée Monyetta Shaw, whom they welcomed in November 2010 and October 2011.
