Payday 2 will be turning a decade this August but it still features new content in 2023, with the latest expansion, Hostile Takeover Heist, releasing in February 2023. Like the Payday games, Crime Boss is a cooperative first-person shooter in which a team of four solve robberies and must destroy waves of police whenever something goes wrong. However, unlike those games, Crime Boss doesn’t seem to offer much freedom in how you plan a heist–it makes for a less than engaging experience, although we hope Hopefully the story-driven campaign will remedy that shortcoming with its roguelite inspiration.
