Coroner confirms cause of death of YSL rapper Lil Keed

Just over seven months after Lil Keed passed away, more information about the 24-year-old rapper’s cause of death has come to light.
Everybody reported that, according to the coroner, the YSL artist died from a condition called eosinophilia.
According to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, eosinophilia is characterized by “having high levels of eosinophils, which are a type of immune cell normally found in the blood and certain tissues.” When an individual has too many of these immune cells, they can cause “chronic inflammation that leads to tissue damage” while trying to fight off pathogens.
Additionally, the Mayo Clinic notes that the condition “often indicates a parasitic infection, allergic reaction, or cancer.”
What Happened The Night Lil Keed Died?
In addition to the rapper’s condition, the coroner’s report also details exactly what happened on the night of his death.
Lil Keed is said to have sought medical attention around 7:30 p.m. on May 13. Before that, he had been dealing with “stomach and back pain” for several days.
“He was bedridden for four days with stomach and back pain. His brother noticed that the deceased’s eyes were jaundiced and drove him to the hospital in a private car.”
While arriving at the hospital, the rapper suffered a seizure “before he lost consciousness”. Shortly after 10 p.m., he was declared dead.
After he passed away, and Lil Keed’s brother—Lil Gotit—recognized the situation with a video uploaded to Instagram.
Lil Keed died shortly after RICO arrested Young Thug
Notably, this tragedy occurred after Young Thug and many other YSL associates, including Gunna, were arrested on RICO charges, for Shade room previous report.
Because Thugger was in custody, he was unable to publicly acknowledge Lil Keed’s death. However, Lil Gotit revealed that he spoke to the rapper about the situation during a phone call.
The bereaved brother admitted that Keed was “f**ked [Young Thug] up with this one. Even so, he feels comfortable knowing Lil Keed is “defending” Thugger amid his legal issues.
We continue to send our condolences to Lil Keed’s friends and family.
