Hasbro released its modernized version of the classic murder mystery game clue on Wednesday. The refreshed version features new artwork and miniatures, and most importantly, a compelling new cast. Now, people are craving characters like Chef White, who single-handedly imbued the classic family board game with stimulation.
The new version brings a more diverse grouping to the game, which previously had a predominantly white cast. The new game also happens to make many (or all, depending on what you like) of these characters much more appealing. Among the new characters, people online chose Chef White as their favorite.
Mrs. White was originally Swap for Dr. Orchid in 2016. Before she leaves, the character has an appearance that resembles a woman – she appears to be an elderly girl wearing an apron. Now, she’s back with a younger and hotter version of herself. She has a look that suits her and now has an undercut hairstyle and smoky eye makeup. (Unfortunately, Dr. Orchid is no longer in the game alongside Chef White.)
In clue, Chef White cooks for a character named Black, but dreams of opening a kitchen of his own. “Her plan [to open a restaurant] based on her talent, perseverance… and the money she’s drained from Boddy Black, whom he’s known for a long time. She has two choices: run Black’s drab hotel restaurant ungratefully, or face charges,” a pamphlet from the game reads.
One viral tweet with over 15,700 likes noted the change and said they “wish a generation of kids will see Chef White as their sexual awakener.”

For the uninitiated, the premise is slightly adjusted of the new version clue regarding the cast’s arrival at Boden “Boddy” Black’s mansion after receiving an invitation. Upon arrival, the cast realizes Black is dead and the player must decide who did it, what weapon they used, and where the murder took place. So naturally, people kept making sexual jokes about being murdered by the new cast.
