Cher says she’s in the dessert business.
The singer has posted on social media that she is launching a brand of gelato.
“Yes, this is real…. I’m launching my Gelato…Watch out LA‼️,” she captioned an Instagram post. “It all started 5 years ago and now it’s finally HAPPENED 💃 More to come….”
The post was accompanied by a video of a brightly decorated ice cream van with pictures of her emblazoned on the vehicle with the word “Cherlato”, presumably the name of the new brand of gelato. The video is set to her song “Believe”. (See article below.)
She also posted the news on Twitter, where Cher has become a trending topic due to the excitement generated by her post.
“If I could BACK in time!” one Twitter user quipped, referring to another Cher hit, “If I Could Turn Back Time.”
Cher, who turned 77 in May, revealed earlier this year that she was working on new music with then-boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards, despite the split, according to reports.
