Check out Miley Cyrus’ outfit from the 2022 New Year’s Eve special

Miley Cyrus rang out in 2023 with her second annual New Year’s Eve special, which has the same looks and vocals. As usual, she collaborated with the stylist Bradley Kenneth to arrange for her many sparkling outfits, including classic Versace dresses and some special Bob Mackie archives. While the musician of outfits from her 2022 special including cat skin suits and lots of feathers, this time, Cyrus shows off sequins, cutouts and one-shoulder silhouettes for her eye-catching performances.

The Singer “Plastic Heart” start the night with presenter and godmother Dolly Parton, sang Joan Jett & the Blackhearts’ “I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll” in a custom Gucci dress with multiple cuts and slit detail. Her leopard-patterned opera gloves matched Parton’s print catsuit that featured large cutouts at the legs and pointed toe embellishments.

All evening, Cyrus, who teaser of her new single, “Flowers,” also wears a one-of-a-kind hand-painted dress, decorated with silk and silver metallic beads and trim. Drawn from costume designer Mackie’s remarkable archive, this piece is from his fall 2002 “To Broadway With Love” collection. Besides Paris Hilton and Sia for one surprise performance of “Stars Are Blind,” Cyrus wore one of the few Versace pieces for the special: a pink halter top from the designer’s spring/summer 2005 collection, complementing a Hilton crystal mini dress by Laurel DeWitt.

Her New Year’s Eve eye-catching look matched the rock star style, inspired by Cyrus’ recent Y2K, which included a John Galliano lingerie dress and a classic Alexander McQueen dress Made of 100 percent silk.
