Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson is married! The former NFL player knelt down and asked his girlfriend, Sharelle Rosadoto marry him on Saturday (January 7).
Rosado said an emotional “yes” to him, followed by a hug. She then said EVERYONE that this is “next step of [their] beautiful journey together.”
And Ochocinco, who proposed in Miami, made sure about 20 friends and family members witnessed the moment.
At first, Sharelle seemed to think Chad was joking – because of his usual goofy antics. But not Johnson. But to get her to the venue, he told her it was an early celebration of his 45th birthday, which he celebrated today (January 9). He pulled out the box with the light shining on the ring, and Sharelle let tears of joy flow! Each EVERYONE, he wears an oval 7.5 carat engagement ring on Sharelle’s left hand.
“I was really shocked, at a loss for words. This is amazing, and to see my family and friends here to celebrate our love, it really blew my mind,” said Sharelle. EVERYONE.

Their engagement comes more than a year after they welcomed their first child and first daughter, Serenity, on January 2, 2022.
Serenity is Sharelle’s fourth and Ochocinco’s eighth.
