Carl Crawford Apologizes to Megan Thee Stallion Over Feud

Carl Crawford, CEO of 1501 Certified Entertainment, has officially apologized to Megan Thee Stallion for the years-long feud between the pair.
Crawford says the situation between him and Megan was ‘unfortunate’
Crawford — along with Kai “Verse” Tyler, the new president of 1501 — issued an apology in a recent interview with TMZ.
He began by noting that he and the rapper “Pressure” haven’t spoken since 2019, which is when the movie originally broke out about Megan forming a connection with Roc Nation.
Crawford later admitted that their only communication was through online quarrels — which he called “unfortunate”, as he “never wanted a situation” to take place on the internet. .

He went on to comment that 1501 is in the process of “rebranding”, as its reputation has been negatively affected by the situation.
CEO says beef is ‘social media stuff’
Carl also made sure to point out that he and Megan “never had any problems” as it was “just social media stuff”.
“I never had a problem with Megan Thee Stallion. It’s just social media content…You remove the social media part from it, we don’t have a problem.”
Regarding this social media beef, Crawford was referring to the infamous video of him rubbing shoulders with Tory Lanez, which he uploaded to Instagram in April 2022.
Specifically, after being asked if he “regrets being with Tory Lanez to the end,” Carl made it clear that the situation was none of his business.
He also commented, “We all make mistakes.”
“You get caught up in things on the internet… We all make mistakes.”
Carl Crawford Is ‘Done’ Talking About Megan
Finally, Crawford went on to claim that he’s officially finished speaking about Megan Thee Stallion.
“I’m done with that. You won’t hear me mention Megan Thee Stallion’s name in the media…You won’t see me post or do anything that drives social media crazy.”
Verse then jumped in and added that the 1501s did not “have a disdain for anyone”.
“We don’t look down on anyone, Meg, Roc Nation. After all, they are a business corporation, they are business people. You know, we don’t have any difference for any of them.”
He also notes, “I think from the beginning it became more of a sentimental thing.”
Although Megan has not publicly acknowledged Carl’s apology, people on Twitter have spoken out about the matter. Check out some of the reactions down below.
