Can Reiki Lead to Orgasm?

When Daydree Horner first started offering couples Reiki at practice in Santa Monica, she noticed a pattern. “The first thing they will say in a session is, ‘We don’t seem to be as connected as we used to be,’” says Horner. And then, after they’ve opened up, what follows is often more specific: “We don’t seem to have sex the way we used to.” Or “I don’t orgasm with my partner like I used to.”
Reiki healing — a combination of gentle touch, guided meditation, and body scanning — can help us get in touch with our bodies and our breaths. And while most of Horner’s private couples sessions aren’t specifically about sex, she says the balance it creates has the effect of connecting us to our sexual selves. “Reiki sessions help with sex because the basis of every delicious orgasm, and the basis of every luscious sexual intercourse, has to do with its basis with the breath,” says Horner. . “Reiki brings your life force back into the same vibrational state as your partner so you can drop into the space of relaxation, release, and achieve the orgasm you want.”
For clients who are looking for explicit help with orgasm, Horner has a specific technique she shares in her own words here.
Practice Solo Reiki to orgasm
Via Daydree Horneras said to go
The purpose of this practice is for the client to connect with her sensations, body, and life force, qi. It’s about control to no control, which is what an orgasm really is.
The first thing I did was help them get started with their qi. I start by having them visualize a fire energy, raku, and move it from the navel to the perineum (the area between your vulva and anus).
Start breathing very slowly and relax. Move this fire energy from the navel to the bottom of the pelvis, and then to the back of the top of the head. This cyclic fire energy prepares the energy system for what is to come.
Then we talk about participating in the actual event, starting with sitting in full lotus position. Then, take one of your heels and place it on your vulva.
Lotus pose can be a physical challenge for some people. If that’s the case, you can place a clean pillow between your heel and your vulva so you have some pressure on it. You’re sitting on the floor after you’ve done this breathing exercise and you’re pushing it up to your vulva with steady, steady pressure. (You can also use a large, fine crystal to apply external pressure.) As you breathe, you will begin to feel that pressure on your labia and surrounding tissues. You will start to feel arousal when you are applying pressure and breathing, because you are allowing the vital energy circulating in your body to also be focused on that particular spot.
And once that happens, the woman begins to realize that her energy system, her full breathing, and pressure are all interconnected. You can grab both hands for extra pleasure: Rub them together to begin moving Reiki, the life force energy, through your palms. Then bring those palms to your exposed breasts, and in a slow upward circular motion, rub your breasts while you are in full lotus position.
In the same way that great loss moves through each of the body’s chakras, leaving us feeling drained, so a great orgasm can flow through each chakra — creating a sense of expansion in the body. our life.
