The New York Jets and their fans’ worst fears were realized on the first day of the week.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero (h/t Nick Shook) reported Monday that the Jets’ star rookie run back to Breece Hall will miss the rest of the season after an MRI confirmed he had an ACL tear in the 16-game win. 9 Sunday before the Denver Broncos.
The update is hardly a surprise, as Jets head coach Robert Saleh admit shortly after Sunday’s contest that the initial diagnosis regarding Hall’s failure was “not good”. ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Rich Cimini Note Hall is also dealing with a mild meniscus injury.
