‘Blonde’, Tom Hanks, Pete Davidson among the worst of 2022 – The Hollywood Reporter

The Golden Raspberry – aka Razzies – awarded Yellow with eight nominations, including worst, in their annual poll for the year’s worst films and performances.
In their statement, the organizers of the Golden Raspberry said the film “‘discovered’ the exploitation of Marilyn Monroe… by continuing to exploit her remains.” Yellow also earned nominations for worst screenplay and worst director for Andrew Dominik, “his work here is more about him than it is about his subject matter,” said Golden Raspberry.
Also up for grabs are Tom Hanks and Pete Davidson, both of whom were nominated for Worst Lead Actor and Worst Supporting Actor. Hanks has been quoted for his role as Gepetto in Disney’s . Pinocchio and “his ludicrous, latex-filled portrait of Colonel Tom Parker in the critically acclaimed film Elvis,” while Davidson was chosen for the voiceover role in mamaduke and his cameo in Good morning.
Good morning, incidentally, will “finish” with Yellow for the dubious honor of the worst photo. The film earned a total of seven “points”, with the Razzies calling it “a non-laughter comedy that achieves the rare feat of scoring a perfect ZERO on Rotten Tomatoes.”
Also nominated for worst film is Disney’s “Completely Unnecessary (and Oddly Scary) CGI/Live Action Remake. Pinocchio,” earning a total of six nominations; The king’s daughter, earned a total of three nominations; and Morbiuswith a total of five nominations, including worst actor for Jared Leto.
Colson Baker (aka Machine Gun Kelly) also earned multiple nominations with four for Good morning: worst actor, worst screen couple (with Mod Sun), worst director and worst script (with Mod Sun).
The Razzies also awarded multiple mentions for two sequels to be released in 2022 for the erotic thriller 365 days — 365 Days: This Day and 365 days to come — including the worst remake/plagiarism/sequels and worst on-screen couples.
Also for the worst on-screen couple is “Both real-life characters in the fallacy of the White House bedroom scene” in Yellow“Andrew Dominik & His Problems With Women” for Yellowand “Tom Hanks & His Latex-Laden Face (and Ludicrous Accent)” in Elvis.
Organizers have also released a video attached to the announcement. See it below.
