Bad Bunny Says He’s ‘Returning Disrespect’ After Fan’s Phone Problem
bad bunny fans, notes! You have to be respectful to be received, especially when entering the musician’s personal space. He covered all of this in his written response to a viral clip of him throwing a fan’s phone.
In the video that started going viral on Monday (January 2), a crowd of Spanish-speaking fans and hypothetical staff members surround Bad Bunny as he strolls outside in the Dominican Republic. A woman in a patterned yellow dress walks next to the Latin star. She held a cell phone with one hand outstretched in front of them.
Immediately, Bad Bunny grabbed the device and casually threw it over the woman’s head and into a nearby body of water. The woman paused, seemingly processing what had just happened, but Bunny continued walking.
The person who recorded the viral interaction lost to the artist but said “for real” in Spanish while continuing to record rappers. Someone in the crowd said, “with that you clown.”
Bad Bunny, also speaking in Spanish, told the others around him, “there must be respect, add that person “must respect his space.”

Bad Bunny asks fans to show respect in response to viral video
The star responded to the trending conversation about fans throwing phones with a tweet in Spanish.
“People who approach me to say hello, tell me something or get to know me will always receive my care and respect. Those who come to throw a goddamn phone in the face, I will consider that disrespectful behavior and I will treat the same.”
#SINCOJONESMETIENE

Bad Bunny is one of the few celebrities who have recently lashed out at seemingly intrusive fans (and media).
At the end of December, Roddy Ricch turned down a photographer who wouldn’t stop filming and photographing him – despite two gentle warnings from the rapper’s security. Ricch told the paparazzi member to “leave” [him] the f**k alone” because he’s living his life “real life” at that point, including loading a new car into the trunk of his car.
At this point, it remains unclear whether the woman has spoken out about the incident or Bad Bunny suggested or planned to have her device replaced.
