Bad Bunny is set to make his one-on-one debut at WWE Backlash tomorrow night. San Benito will face Judgment Day Priest Damian in the San Juan Street Fight. The creators’ original plan for an international music sensation was very different from what they had intended for Premium Live.
Based on Choose to fightBad Bunny was originally supposed to team up with Rey Mysterio against Dominik and Damian Priest at the May 6 high-profile live event. However, this was changed to a singles match for the show in Puerto Rico.
“Dominik and Rey Mysterio have been withdrawn from the match, and both Bad Bunny and WWE are said to be comfortable with Bunny’s ability to have a good singles match,” the report said.
The original plan was to see Bunny pins WrestleMania 37 tag team partners. For those who don’t know, the Grammy Award-winning rapper is tagged Priest against The Miz and John Morrison on the biggest stage of them all.
Having said that, let’s take a look at three possible endings for Bad Bunny’s match at WWE Backlash.
#first. Damian Priest defeats Bad Bunny at WWE Backlash
Damian Priest cut an advertisement in Spanish last Monday on WWE RAW, in which he threatened to punish his former tag team partner. The notorious archer said San Benito made things personal when he interfered with Rey and Dominik’s match at WrestleMania 39.
Judgment Day’s punishment is more than capable of disrupting the international musical sensation. Priest is no stranger to wielding weapons either, and that was enough to take down Bunny at WWE Backlash.
#2. Bad Bunny gets outside help
The “MIA” hitmaker appeared on the April 24, 2023 episode of Monday Night RAW with a kendo stick. Bunny delivered several hits on Damian Priest before challenging him to a fight in the now-official Street Fight at WWE Backlash.
San Benito may not be as physically fit as Damian Priest, but that doesn’t mean he can’t get a surprise win over the former US champion. San Benito can get outside help from some Grammy Award-nominated singer in his home state of Puerto Rico.
#3. Judgment Day and Booming LWO
Bad Bunny and Damian Priest won’t need to worry about being disqualified from WWE Backlash. The superstars will find a way to tear each other apart in Street Fight. Another possible ending could be for Priest to win over Bunny.
This is where things can heat up as the Latino World Order and Right to Phan Quyet engages in an all-out brawl after the Priest attempts to humiliate his opponent. The post-match brawl could take place in the event that Bunny or Priest win this weekend.
