I spend a lot of my time shopping in New York City, but there are certain stores I have to prevent myself from stepping inside to keep my bank account green. Such a place is Saks 5th Avenue, a key factor in the NYC shopping scene, where finances run dry, not necessarily because everything is expensive, but because it’s all completely irresistible. Alas, sometimes you have to break your own rules. Or at least, that’s what I’m telling myself because of the fact that I walked into Saks this week and then spent a total of three hours scouring the store’s seemingly endless products. .
Of course, with a selection as good as at Saks, I can’t just look at my favorites in the bunch. I have to try them too. So, to make the damage more worthwhile, I decided to make my shopping experience the newest part of the monthly column. Get A Room. That way, I can use work as an excuse for my reckless behavior and everyone wins.
